Rumors had it that Microsoft may release an App Store integrated with Windows 8 and it was just confirmed by Microsoft in a blog post by Steven Sinofsky. The Windows 8 App store will most probably give you a chance in downloading programs and apps directly, meaning you wouldn’t have to go at Microsots’ web site in order to search and download.
Sinofsky also wrote that currently there are about 35 different teams of devs with up to 40 people in each team. These teams are organized into “feature teams” meaning the tasks are separated and there are different teams covering each aspect of creation the app store- development, testing and integration. The teams are not only in the US but all around the world.
